Steel grating fence is the most strong and durable metal grating products and is also known as welded steel bar grating fencing. At present, steel grating fence has been the widely used in all walks of life at home and abroad. In general, it uses the mild carbon steel wire and the surface treatment is heavy duty hot-dipped galvanized which can prevent oxidation.

According to the different uses, it can be divided into three categories. First category, the most common type is that the center distance of flat bar is 30 mm. It meets the American Standard. In the whole series of steel grating fence, it has the strongest resistance to the impact of the surface. It is widely used in power plants, steel grid roads, airports and docks, such as platforms, walkways, drain covers and steel stair treads and so on. The toothed steel grating can be used in wet and slippery places, especially for offshore oil recovery platforms. Second category, the most economical and portable is that the center distance of flat bar is 40 mm. It is in accordance with the specifications of fixed platforms, walkways and stair treads followed with the European Standard. Final category, the steel grating with the spacing of flat bar of 60 mm is variety developed for application of the mining industry.

At present, there are two modes of production. They are welded grating and locked grating. The difference is that one is round steel bar and the other is flat bar.
