Comparing against other conventional materials, Hesly FRP Grating are available in a variety of resins, standard and custom colors, depths, panel sizes and mesh configurations. Surface options include a meniscus or integrally applied grit top, both of which offer superior, slip resistant footing. HESLY molded grating is used in place of traditional materials for a FRP solution that fits a wide range of applications and environments.

HESLY Mini and Micro Mesh FRP systems offer an excellent alternative to conventional flooring products providing the ultimate in corrosion resistance and slip protection. The small mini and micro mesh opening allow the use for wheelchair access ramps.

Fastening and Joining Clips

HESLY^® offers three standard fastening and joining clips; available in stainless steel 304 or 316. A minimum of four clips per standard panel should be used.

"M" Saddle Clip

To position grating on a support structure and restrain all movement

C Clip

To connect two adjacent unsupported grating bars

L Clip

For securing grating to support frames for moderate load.

How to installd FRP / GRP Grating

We recommend a bearing support surface of at least 40mm.

Applications

FRP/GRP molded grating is ideal for highly corrosive applications where larger open area gratings are required.

GRP gratings make up the core of the FRP range, providing flooring, step and walkway solutions in heavy duty applications, such as factories, workshops, and Offshore platforms.

Molded Fiberglass Gratings

VINYL ESTER (Type V): Developed to withstand frequent and direct contact in the harshest of chemical environments. Type V is ideal for use in acidic and caustic environments, such as chemical plants, waste water treatment and plating applications.

ISOPHTHALIC POLYESTER (Type I): An industrial grade resin great for environments where grating may occasionally be in contact with harsh chemicals due to splashes or spills.

FOOD GRADE ISOPHTHALIC POLYESTER (Type F): Ideal for environments in the foof and beverage industry where grating may frequently be wet or exposed to harsh cleaning products.

GENERAL PURPOSE POLYESTER (Type GP): A lower cost resin ideal for environments such as food processing plants and dairies,

EXTRA FIRE RETARDANT ISOPHTHALIC POLYESTER (Type XFR): Offering an added level of fire safety for critical areas where welding or sparking equipment is used or anywhere with increased fire potential.

PHENOLIC (Type P): Best choice for applications where fire resistance, low smoke and low toxic fume emissions are critical such as oil refineries, tunnels, ships and train decks.
